HELLO FROM NEW YORK BY ESTITXU

                                             NEW YORK

New York is the most incredible city in United States. New York is a big city. It has lots of names: The Big Apple, Gotham, the City that Never Sleeps, the Centre of the World. There are eight million people living in New York.



                       STATUE OF LIBERTY

The statue of Liberty was a present of France and represents the Roman goddess of Freedom. She has a torch and a tablet. The date of the American independece, in fact, 4th July, 1776, is on the tablet.



                              THE EMPIRE STATE BUILDING

The Empire State Building is the tallest skyscraper in New York. It is 443 metres high and it has102 stories. There are two observation decks one in 82th floor and an other on the 102nd story. You get marvellous views of the city from there.


                                               THE CITY

New York is fun!!! There are a lot of restaurants and cinemas. There are many restaurants where you can eat food from all over the world. But everybody likes HOT DOGS!!!



                     TAXIS

One symbol of New York is the taxi. 8% of cabbies, or cab drivers, are  not born in the United States. There are more than 13,000 taxis in New York.
