WHO INVENTED YOUTUBE ?
YouTube was invented by Steve Chen, Chad Hurley and Jawed Karim out of a garage in Menlo Park. The inventors became millionaire. They sold their invention for 1.65 billion dolars to Google.
Youtube was invented in February 2005, as a destination to match and share original videos worldwide through the web.
Steve Chen
Steve Chen was born in Taipei, Taiwan. When he is fifteen yeards old, he and his family immigrated to the United States. He studied Computer Science in the University and he gradueted in 2002.
Now he lives in San Francisco with his wife and two sons.
Chad Hurley
Since childhood, Chad showed extreme interest in the arts, but then later he became interested in computers and electronic media during high shool.
Jawed Karim
Karim was born on January 1, 1979. Karim was born in Merseburg, East Germany, but he moved to Unites States with his family in 1992. While working at PayPal, he met Chad Hurley and Steve Chen. They three later founded the YouTube video sharing website in 2005.
