- 240 grammes of flour
- 2 teaspoons of baking powder
- 1 teaspoon of mixed spice
- 720 grammes of butter
- 720 grammes of sugar
- 180 grammes of raisinsa and candied peel
- 4-5 tablespoons of orange juice
Method:
- First, grease a baking tray. Preheat the oven to 210º C.
- Then, mix the flour, the backing powder and the mixed spice. Rub in the butter.
- After, add the sugar, the raisins, the candied peel and the orange juice.
- Next, shape the mixture into small heaps. Put them on the baking tray. Sprinkle them with sugar.
- Finally, bake for 12 minutes. Serve after 30 minutes.
