Visit London By Noa


 There are some fountains and some statues, and very interesting buildings, in Trafalgar square. The people in London go to Trafalgar Square, and there they celebrate New Year.  
-Queen Elizabeth II(The second) has some homes, but she lives in Buckingham Palace. There are 775 rooms in that palace. Exactly 240 are bedrooms and 78 are bathrooms. 
-The British Parlament is the seat of westminster Palace. The Big Ben is the name of the bell in the tower. The clock tower is in the palace. The bell and the clock are very long, 2,7 and 4,3 meters long.  
-St Paul´s cathedral was built in the 1.600. This cathedral inspired by the dome of saint Peter´s Basilica in Rome. A lot of famous British People are buried there. Today a lot of musical festivals ate held there.  
-There are some historic events related to the tower. The tower was used for a lot things, for example: Prison. In the 14th century, the crowns and jewels started to be kept in tower.  
-This is a modern tower in the city of London. This tower which opened only five years ago. If has forty floors and it´s the sixth tallest tower in London. Just one year later a similar building was opened in Brcelona, too.  
-This big wheel in London in 135 meters high, andd is the largest big wheel in Europe. The wheel rolates at 26 cm per second, takes about 30 minutes. Because it so slowly, it does hot normally stop for people to get on and off. -The bridge is on the river thames. The bridge was completed in 1884. 432 workers, worked in the building. IT took eight years to build the bridge, The bottom part of the bridge opens and closes so ships can go up and down the river.
