Let's visit London by Alvaro Martinez

Buckingham Palace
The Queen of England lives in Buckingham Palace. The guards are called "The Horse Guards" and guard the palace. Every year, in June, there is a parade.

Big Ben and the houses of the Parliament
The belfry of London is de Big Ben. In the houses of the Parliament work members of the British goverment.

Red: London's colour
The most important colour in London is red: the telephone boxes, post boxes and the buses are red. The red telephone boxes are 101 years old.

The Tower of Lndon
The Tower of London was a palace and a prision but today is a museum. It is 907 years old.

Tower Bridge

The Tower Bridge is on the river Thames. It is 111 years old. There is a good view of London from the bridge.
